Privacy policy

Version of 8 October 2026. Written in plain language; no data is collected beyond what is needed to book and run the session.

Who is responsible

VTR Bike Lab, run by Victor Castelo Branco, Rua Sacadura Cabral 23, 1495-702 Oeiras, Portugal. Contact: phone and WhatsApp +351 913 844 787.

What data I collect and why

  • Online booking. Name, email, phone, chosen plan, day and time, and anything you write in the notes. Used to confirm the session, remind you of it and prepare the bike fit. The calendar is provided by Cal.com, Inc. (USA), which processes the data on my behalf under GDPR contractual safeguards. Bookings sync with my Google Calendar (Google Ireland Ltd.).
  • WhatsApp and phone. If you message or call me, I keep the conversation on the studio phone to reply and follow up. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.
  • Bike fit session. Body measurements, angles, pedalling video and the report. Kept at the studio to give you the report and, if you come back, to compare. Session images are only published with your explicit permission.
  • Meta Pixel (only with your consent). If you accept the notice on the site, the Meta Pixel records the visit and the booking so I know whether Instagram and Facebook ads work. Without acceptance it doesn't load. You can change your mind by clearing the site data in your browser.
  • Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which keeps technical logs (IP address, requested page, time) for short periods, for security and performance. I don't use analytics tools that identify visitors.

Cookies

The site stores in your browser only your answer to the consent notice. Meta Pixel cookies only exist after you accept.

For how long

Booking and session data: while you are a client and for the period tax law requires for invoices. WhatsApp conversations: until no longer needed for your follow-up. You can ask for deletion at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and object to a processing, via the WhatsApp or phone above. If you think I haven't responded as I should, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (cnpd.pt).
